Get the air out works best. Carb cleaner if in a pinch. Not as volatile IMO.

Change fuel filter & check for good fuel flow from tank to injection pump. Check to be sure fuel tank is venting. I utilize starting fluid as a very last resort & only ""very sparingly"" due to possibility of engine damage from excessive use of SF.
