Engine for Kubota B6100 - what fits?

What engines can be used as a direct replacement for a B6100. Kubota has D650, D750, D850, D905, D950, ... are any or all of these potential replacements for this tractor, even though they may have higher HP? Does any one have a low hour used engine, or a reasonably priced source for engine rebuilding parts? The existing engine has so many hours and is so weak, that I don't know if it's worth rebuilding. Thanks

I'd call the Kubota US headquarters and ask to speak to an engineer for the B series. The number is (310) 370-3370. Ask them if there is an interchange. I'm sure a competent rebuilder could do a good job on the engine.

It would help if you add a location to your profile. Some of the readers might be able to recommend a good shop in your area.
