Hi, I am a new user. I am the proud owner of a 86 kubota
B-6200. I have owned this tractor since new. When I purchased it in 1986 I almost bought a new pickup truck instead. Well I can say that this tractor has payed for itself and is going on its second time of doing so. My question is this would it be wise to clean my injectors or should they be left alone until hard starting ocurrs.I have 680 hrs on engine and have changed oil and filter every 30 hrs. I use a cetane booster with a anti bacteria additive in the fuel. It starts a little uneven but smooths out quick. say 25 seconds or so. This has probably been the most reliable engine I have ever owned. Any recomendations would be appreceiated.

Welcome to the board first of all. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
By the sounds your B6200 well taken care of also shines.

Have you tried some injector cleaner from your local dealer.

My Ford 1710 owner's manual calls for removing and servicing the injectors at 600 hours. I asked the dealer about doing the maintenance when the tractor was there for 4wd linkage repair. He said that he doesn't pull injectors until around 2000 hours unless the tractor is smoking and other causes are eliminated. You might want to get a Kubota dealer's opinion.
