I removed the input and output fuel lines to the injectors and removed the 2 bolts and the piece it holds down. I'm not sure how to take them out now. Could somebody help me out?

Simply pull them straight out while rotating. They are not threaded in. You may need a heel (crowfoot) bar if they're carboned in pretty bad. You can also try a few drops of penetrant around the injector body.

Sometimes you can turn the engine over and the compression will pop them loose.

I got them out. I thought they just pulled out but the first one was stuck and I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything before I applied a little force. One just pulled out easily. Thanks for the help.

Had the injectors checked and 2 opened at 2000 psi and 1 was 0. Will order 1 and post the results when I get it back in. I hope that's the problem.

They found the dribbler! Good for you.
Should run like a champ now.
Curious how much they charged for the testing if you don't mind. :)

He said the 2 had a good pattern at 2000 psi and the bad 1 was a straight stream holding no pressure. He said normal for their tractors is 3000 to 3500 psi. I dropped them off at a John Deere dealership and he said it didn't take long so he didn't charge me anything. I was suprised because I have only been in there 2 or 3 times and I know they didn't know me. Will probably be 3 or 4 days before I get the new injector. No mail today so will go out tomorrow. Didn't want to pay for overnight delivery.

Is there a torque setting for the injectors?

Thanks to all for the advice and help
Mark

The injector I ordered came today. I installed it and the tractor is back up and running. Thanks for the help.
