I am trying to find out the appropriate oil to use for the the gas engine on my Case 480ck series B. The engine model is G148B. Any input would be very helpful. Thank you all in advance.

Any oil with the API rating of "SJ" or "SL" either straight or multi-vis.
If it were me, I'd run 15w-40.
If it were me, I'd run 15w-40.

Thank you both for the help. I just ordered an operators manual so hopefully that will help me with the maintenance.
I was also wondering what sort of oil / fluid is used in the "power steering" for my tractor. It was leaking onto one of the loader arms the last I ran it. There is a decal that reads " check oil level in power steering reservoir every 50 hours of use". Is it hy/tran?
