Engine Oil Type Question

/ Engine Oil Type Question #11
The B7100 manual calls for 10-30 if using a multi-weight oil. I can easily get 15-40 type Cx at WalMart or other auto parts stores. I can get 10-30 at a truck or tractor dealer but it costs more. Will using 15-40 instead of 10-30 create any problems such as additional engine wear?

No, 15W-40 is the preferred oil nowadays. Kubota's a little behind in updating manuals is all.
