30/30, pretty weak quiz...

Yep,1 of the 3 answers are so bad even an idiotwouldn't use them. On the others one of the remaining two is a very poor choice.

29/30 here, and Like Coby I dispute the spark plug question. Ignition noises are pings and clatter, usually induced by higher manifold pressure caused by going uphill; knocking is a bearing about to pack it up, usually a rod bearing. It will sound while idling in neutral and really get your attention under load.

Basic for some folks.......I got 29/30 but my wife got 9/30........she knows all engines have tires and come with a key to start them........she also knows that if the engine doesn't work........you either call me or AAA.

Same score, same reason and although I got it right I thought power for radio etc etc came from the battery not the alternator, the alternator only charges the battery and my radio etc works without the engine running.

28/30. I missed the cylinder orientation and the cause of engine knocking. Despite owning a flat 4 engine on my wood splitter that term didn't register with me. I still think low enough oil is a way bigger problem than the wrong spark plug.

It probably does. The alternator isn't very clean power and goes through the battery to regulate it.

When I went through for the third time I deduced which answers they wanted even if they are wrong.:laughing:
