update on the fuel filter change?

I might be reviving an ancient post that started...

I eventually replaced all fuel lines, fuel filter, filter screen in fuel tank and the manual lift pump. I still have occasional problems with the RPM surging and then the tractor just dies. The only way I get it to start up again is if I disconnect the fuel line going to injector #1 and "bleed" the air out of the system there. After that the tractor may run 5 minutes or 5 weeks. It is so random. It is like I am getting air in the fuel system, but I can find no leaks, and everything appears okay. However there is definitely a problem somewhere. I have been struggling with this on and off every since my original post.

spray all the hard lines off with carb cleaner, wipe down with a paper towel next time you put her up. after setting, run a clean dry paper towel all over the lines, see if any of them have a weeping oily residue on there where there might be a fuel leak. when setting, a little fuel may leak out and cause an air bubble.
