Fallon, please do post your thoughts on that seed drill if you rent it. I'm out in Parker as well and have been wondering if I could drag that thing around with my 2520.
Enough tractor & what prep for a grass drill? What should my plan B be?

I just found out that it's rented until the middle of May & a neighbor has a brother with a drill I can borrow. I think it's a 12' and isn't a no-till, so it will hopefully pull a bit easier, not to mention being free (well I will owe a favor) & more flexible on timing.
It's rated as needing a 40hp tractor, so I was kind of leery of my 32hp 3,800lbs (loaded R4s & loader) L3200 being able to pull it. I'm assuming yours has even less weight & HP, small frame John Deere is it?
