have a neighbor thinking of selling a 5 ft back blade, kubota tiller, disc,howse
mower and box blade. all about 10 years old and has been sitting out but looks relatively good. any ideas on what i should offer for some or all of this; thanks --need some good opinions on this quickly

Being 10 years old will not hurt anything, if it has not been beat up and abused. Good 3 pt. attachments seem to hold their value, because everyone is usually watching for that stuff.

I try to aim at half price of new but almost NEVER get anything for near that... usually 75 to 80 percent of new price... or even more. KennyV

Depending on brand and condition. My experience is 50% to 70% of retail. I'd hunt for 50% off retail but if I really wanted or needed it I'd go more. If it's a "bundle" take it all or none then I'd knock another 20% off the 50% and "mutter" I don't need this and this but if you want to sell all of it at one price then this is what I'd give. At auctions I've seen some implements sell for as much or more than new and some of it I wouldn't take home if they gave it to me but that's sometimes the nature of auctions.
