Good Luck Ernie. I enjoyed talking with you and doing business with you. My 1820D continues to perform like a champ.

Wish you the best. I talked to Dave ( Daves Tractor) a few months back & he said that the way yanmar prices are now that he can sell a new mahindra for about the same $

Best of luck to you Ernie sorry to hear a line of income and enjoyment for you and your family has gone away because of this lousy world money market here is hoping its a temporary situation cheers!

I know at the time I paid within a thousand dollars of 6-8 year old JD mfwd's with similar hours in the 45hp class when I bought my 3810D and that was in 09 so it has just gotten worse sounds like since then. :(

Ernie, are you gonna just stick with selling Mahindra tractors or are you looking into other options? Those new U.S. market Yanmars look pretty slick.

Say it isn't so Ernie. :( Understand the situation and your decision. As can be seen, there are a lot of people who are going to miss you.

I'm sure all of us are waiting for economic times to return.

Do enjoy your new found free time.

Well, it was a good run since the 90s, but we are throwing in the towel as importers. We just cant continue to purchase grade A quality Yanmars and make a profit with the Japanese Yen pegging 77 for the last 6 months.

Sure there are Yanmars for sale in Japan, but they are not what we were accustomed to selling. Late model trouble free units without rust and low hours at a reasonable price.
We sold ALL of our Yanmar parts tractors and parts to Hoye tractor, they sent a large truck, and we loaded it up and off to Texas.
If you need parts, they are here at Yanmar Tractor Parts - Shop Online

If the economy ever straightens out and the dollar regains strength, we may jump back in it, but for now we have other things to occupy us, like enjoying life a little more with the grand children, fishing, hunting, and there is also farming.

I sincerely want to thank everyone that purchased a Yanmar or parts from us throughout the years.

Ernie :D:D:D

Are you still gonna sell anything tractor related, work on ones you sold in your shop? If so why did you sell all your parts now those you sold to no longer have a local source? If you went out of tractor biz totally i understand though.
