Erskine Front Mount Blower Hydraulic Cylinder

I put my Erskine Front Mount Snow Blower today and noticed a leaking hydraulic cylinder. These are welded so replacing the seals is not possible. I am looking for a replacement pair of cylinders with 2" bore x 4" stroke like the ones in the photo. Anyone know where I might be able to find them? I've already checked with TSC and Agri Supply and all my local shops with out success.

I've tried Princess Auto, TSC (Canada & USA) and all the local hydraulic shops in my area. Most don't stock small cylinders and some have never seen this type of hydraulic cylinder before. I am still waiting for prices from Erskine. They do not seem to really want to sell direct to me but rather to a local dealer.

I too was going to say princess auto not sure why you can't adapt one of there small cylinders to work.In there Fall and Winter Catalogue on Pg 6 they have a 1 1/2 bore cylinder with 4" stroke for $154.99.Again I'am sure it could be made to work.On the other hand when I was looking at yours I'am almost wondering if its a single acting cylinder?? As always Larry.

Don't know if they ship to Canada, but here's where I usually get my cylinders. The show quite a few 2"x4"x1.5" cylinders.

They look like the same cylinder used on the skidsteer blower, I can take a look when the sun comes up. If it is I have one on a blower here and I can check pricing and ship one out to you.
Your model and serial would be helpful.

Hi Ken, the model is Erskine 600FM and the serial # is 4537. I am looking for 2 cylinders with 2" bore x 4" stroke pin hole double acting type. The part number in the 600FM manual is 103273. Steve

Thanks CHDinCT, I missed Surplus Center. I checked them out las night and they do not have the pin hole type listed on their site.

I have one I could pull off a skidsteer blower or could have a couple here next week. It does'nt have 2 on the deflector does it?

Hi Ken, These cylinders are actually to lift the blower and not for chute control. If you look at the front frame break down chart it is part #13 and there is a pair of them. Both of mine are leaking a little. Steve
