As well, look at all the stuff it's good for? Probably even a dessert topping.
But no way it's going on my leather boots. After a while the smells makes me gag.
Thanks for providing the Link.

You best send me a couple cans of that,... its just going to go bad setting around...;)

James kOua, I'd be happy to trade a couple cans for your nice Carolina Carport building that I just saw on another thread. And thanks to sixdogs for looking up the shelf life info. After using up 4 then 6 cans around here, I just popped for a case of spray cans plus a gallon pail. Maybe the kids could use the left overs on my casket.:D

Fluid Film is Lanolin which is the fat from sheep wool. Some call it wool fat/grease.

I always think of Lanolin as the goo that squirted on Mike Rowe in Dirty Jobs when he was playing with a sheep skin and he just had to squish the "pimple" on the skin. I think he got hit in the face.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

I wonder if the shelf life issue in the can is just a statement to cover the can from loosing pressure? The gallon can I have is a few years old at this point and will last me quite a few more years.

Later,
Dan

My whole case of spray cans went bad in less than 2 years. A little bit would squirt out and then nadda. The cans were still pressurized but the fluid film reacted with something in it and turned to gunk. The couple i had used the year before worked fine. That is when i found out they had a shelf life of 1 year. They were stored in a relatively cool spot.

There is no shelf life on the gallon cans.

Don't forget an unpressurized can of anything still has the anything inside it; cut a hole in the can and use the FF.

Make sure it's 100% unpressurized or there might be an unfortunate reaction. I used to use a 22 on empty cans as a kid and was surprised at the retained energy in an empty can. Just my two cents.

I just bought my yearly case of cans, a gallon of A for the rusty frame on my dump truck, and a gallon of AR for mine and my father's new trucks. I hope I have enough! :)

Guys,

Just a quick update. If you are looking to purchase fluid film from Kells (Fluid Film Rust Protection) there is a new coupon code to use to get 15% off. The coupon code is "tacoma." It looks like the old "tractorbynet" code has expired.
