My wifes uncle is turning 90. The family is having a big birthday bash for him next weekend (July 4). Extended family is coming in from all over the place. One of his sons is renting TWO houses across the lake in Tellico Village for a week so some people will have housing.
One of the festivities is anticipated to be an outdoor movie. My brother in law has bought a 10 (or was it 15?) foot inflatable movie screen and projector. Although he also has some powered Electro-Voice speakers to play the sound, I'm going to try to insist on bringing over my slightly larger heavy hitters.
The bottom part will be split into two with one section going on each side of the screen. I'll bring my other top horn down and put it on top of each woofer section.
The big party is NEXT weekend but as a dry run, we're going to put it all together this upcoming weekend and play some movies so we can iron all the bugs out of the setup.
Should be a lot of fun. I'll plan on getting some pictures of the setup.
