Ever fill your own 14 ounce propane tank?

I've found it helpful to keep the source tank at an angle off of vertical (inverted) so the 14oz tank is tilted up some, ie, not horizontal.
Also I try to fill all mine when it's cold and I freeze the 14oz cans overnight.
