Been there, done that. Cracked the clutch housing on my NH TC33D. THe only reason it was not in two pieces with its belly on the ground was that the backhoe subframe & belly pan and limb risers/FOPS up above held it together. Dealer estimated $7000 to repair "IF everything came apart and went back together well and IF no further damage was found". Ended up finding a used clutch housing from a New Holland tractor salvage yard and went with a local tractor repair guy. Got it all done for $3000.

We had our New Holland TC29D crack in half at the bell housing. Took us forever to find a replacement part and get it back together. Did it with the help of a friend from church who was a retired John Deere dealer shop manager. Poor design by NH - both the front end loader and backhoe mount at the same spot onto the bell housing and there is no frame to support or reinforce the area. Over time too much stress caused the failure.
