Everlast PA 200 ST arrived

Somebody more knowledgeable might have more to say but that second try look like good welds to me. (I would be proud of them if I laid them down.)

With 1/8 7018 I pretty much just drag the rod in a slow feed and it flows out pretty nice. Actually I think I used 3/32 on these welds. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...34-scrape-blade-repair-plow-bolt-pc280017.jpg

I'm convinced these inverters like specific brands of rod. My PA-200 seems to do best with ESAB's Atom Arc 7018, same with my V350-Pro. But Furu's Longevity Stickweld 250 likes Lincoln's Excalibur 7018 best.:confused3:

Like I said my PA-200 likes ESAB's Atom arc 7018, and ESAB's 10P-Plus 6010. Here is what they look like on pipe. I've also had good luck with Hobart's 335A 6011.

Now that impresses me [not that the other ones didn't] How did the root pass look? Lots of experience with the excaliber 7018 and the 5p+. Didn't really like the + at first but it grew on me after I got used to it. CJ
