Tractor
Kubota 7500 w/ FEL
I was cleaning and rearranging the carport where I store my equipment and saw my tractors lined up and just had to take a picture. I started out with only a push mower and then cleared more and more of the land around the house, moving up to lawn tractors and finally the Kubota. Only wish I had gone orange from the start. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Great picture, Jacque! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

They look pretty well kept. Are they all still in service?

Thanks a heap for sharing. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

So when you move up, you still keep the older stuff, too. What's the next step, an EarthForce like MChalkley?/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Reminds me of the bonnet my mother-in-law wears when she's out pullin the baler with the NH3930. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

There appears to be a missing link between that green one and the Kubota. What changed in the environment that favored by natural selection the change to that lovely orange coloration? Are there any fossilized forms previous to the blue one lying about? These are often of great interest to paleotractorologist.

Well Jacque, I'm also more of the "collector" type because I currently have three riding mowers (all work), two tractors, and a three-wheeler dumpcart. It looks like you have a good collection started. I have property in N. TX near where you went to school and I started clearing land by hand and have moved up to my New Holland. Like you, I could have saved a lot of backbreaking work if I'd had the New Holland long ago. It's amazing the things you can find to do with a FEL.

Trescrows,

Yes, I looked at the green tractors before I looked at the Orange (I love my Green lawn tractor) but the combination of sticker shock and a poor salesman sent me on a search of alternatives. You are right about the previous mowers /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I owned an MTD mower and two Murray's before I bought big blue (Lowes) both of the Murray's are still running and mowing neighbors yards. Ya gotta love yard sales.

Yeppers all of them still run fine, it's a wonder they run at all... before I got the Kubota I used the Lowes (blue) like a bush hog, I removed the deck from it just this past year and now use it mostly for the rear blade and to pull my garden cart. I have never been really careful with my tractors and give them a good workout but I also keep the maintence up and so far I have been very lucky and have had nothing more serious than flat tires /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
