Since you insist on completely hijacking Rob's thread - yes. At that bid, it's a good investment. The current NADA collectible guide reflects top book for that particular car is $12,150. About 5-6 years ago it bottomed out around $6400, been climbing ever since.

And yes, the 92 style 15" wheel and tire upgrade increases the value to select buyers. Plus I have had the original 14" alloys professionally refinished. Should a purist make me an offer I can't refuse, they go with the car.

I'll give you 2750.00 cash. The price of scrap steel is pretty high these days. Are all 8 wheels aluminum?

I thought a report and some photos might help in determining how bad my blow by problem is, if any at all.
I did about an hours worth of smoothing the 1/2 mile long road pulling the heavy 7' boxblade all the way.

When I got back to camp, I decided to take some pictures of the breather at 2400 rpm. There was some smoke coming out of the little holes, but apparently not even enough to show up on this photo? It was smoking though ... a little but you just can't see here. You can see the residue around the breather though. Then I took a photo of the exhaust stack and there was no smoke at all coming out there. I had reported before the engine did not smoke at all and runs strong. Also a photo of the rpm I can get on the Kama 554 and also a shot of the filter minder, which shows the air cleaner is working properly. Perhaps I'm worried about nothing?
So what do you think?

It is obvious you have a very serious problem. Get the engine rebuilt immediately! :D :D :D

Make sure you have the muffler bearing seals done at the same time!:D :D :D

LOL Egon,
I swear there was some smoke coming out of that breather cap when I snapped that photo.
I was surprised it didn't show up more?
BTW, I just rotated the muffler bearings at 400 hrs.;)

LOL It does look bad !!

Don't forget while the wrenchs are out ..... to replace both of the postive seals that hold the camber angle located in the top of each front wheel spindle assy.

Rob,
I'm on your side. My dozer doesn't smoke at all, not even after it's been idling for fifteen minutes. When I took the video of "Stump'n", it showed it smoking like it had no rings. Hasn't done it since, and it still doesn't smoke. I guess the stars were out of alignment.

I kinda think it was the other way around Dave. But now that your true colors have finally emerged, folks may remember them - I know I will - when you approach the forum with a TSC354C question of your own some day.

//greg//

TRUE COLORS?
Just what are your 'true colors", other than you try to make yourself the only person that has any "knowledge" about diesel engines?
I sincerely hope that if I have a question about my KAMA 354X that you will refrain from replying with your lack of knowledge and that I will receive a correct answer from a member who knows what they are talking about. I've met a lot of self-centered idiots and you sure do take the cake.

That's curious Dave, and possibly revealing as well. Do you own two KAMA/TaiShan 354 model tractors? or don't you know the difference between the X variant and the C variant? If it in fact you own one - and it actually is a TS354X - maybe you would consider correcting your member profile.

Perhaps you'd also consider letting loose of this bone, so Rob can get on with the business of HIS tractor.

Nitpicker. When I bought my KAMA (Which is my first diesel tractor) the documentation that came with it said that it was a 354C 3 cylinder diesel, and the hood label stated that it was a C model. I have since learned that I actually have a KAMA 354X 3 cylinder, so I confess that I was taken in by a shady dealer who sold me a mislabeled tractor.
If anyone needs to let go of a bone it is you. I cannot understand why you continue to post on this site since you don't really know much. You sound like my wife, who in spite of hard facts, continues to go off on a wild tangent to prove her point.
