I've got a 25' spruce out front. I took an old telescoping fish pole that is 20' and taped a wire V at the end. I slip about 2 feet of lights into the V and can reach the top of the tree from the ground. I drape the 2 feet dangling over the tippy top of the tree and pull down. The lights snap out of the wire and stay on the tree. Works great. Only trouble is.... there's no reason to get the tractor out! /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Just used my B2400 to put up the lights. The front of the house is 90' long. Instead of moving the ladder every 5 feet, I had the wife drive the tractor real slow while I stood in the raised bucket. Worked great and took about 1/5 the time!...

I get mine out most evenings to collect the chicken eggs. Sure the coop is only 800 feet away, but it's dark out and I can just shine the headlights through the window. My kids love to go for a ride any time of day as well, so they usually go too.

Just this minute saw a segment on the TV news about somone who used their tractor to create a drawing (portrait of a cowboy).

I missed the details (where/who/why), but the finished image is 1.4 miles by 1.6 miles. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Now I understand why some of you folks have both a tractor and an airplane. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I once used my tractor to spell "I love you!" in the grass of the meadow on the day my wife was flying over. Earned myself a LOT of points with that one! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

HELLO TO ALL,
i use my tractor,(L3000DT) to take my garbage cans up to the street. i put them
in the front end loader. they are heavy, and this is a good excuse to use the tractor.
