How would a Fecon 130/140 compare with a Supertrak 140?

I have never run a Supertrak 140 but I would guess that they are comparable in power to the head. The Fecon has the high flow and psi numbers but it all comes down to horsepower and torque.

problem with supertrak is that there is one dealer world wide.......only one source for parts.... and only one place that can make a legitimate warranty claim. other than that they are pretty nice machines.

Ran one last year my cat dealer brought out for me to demo for a day. Cut great but for the price they wanted for it they can keep it. Could have got a brand new fecon 148 an had little left over.

I run a CIMAF head on the PT and love that. Anyone with any experience with the Gyrotrac units, like a 13 or 25?

If you like the cimaf head on your PT you already know all of the drawbacks of a knife head. We have a Gyro Trac 25. It loves big material. 24" hardwoods in about 5 minutes. The size and undercarriage limit tight places, put you have your other machine for that. The 25 does good with a skid steer as support/chase machine.

I got a Supertrac 140 ctl-c I'd sell. Just over 1100 hours. 90K. I'm in need of more HP and steel tracks.

Looked at a FTX130 this week. I'm on the fence on whether or not to even consider it. Fires right up and runs smooth from what I can tell, but everybody says these things have problems. The final drives have been re-done and the lifter arms are slotted. Under 1000 hours. If the budget were higher I would be looking for a Supertrak, Gyrotrac 13 or 18, or Fecon FTX 148, or something similar.
