Hakim,
One problem with the "tasers" that shoot out the electrical leads is that they shoot out electrical leads. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The problem is that both wires have to hit flesh to shock. If only one hits and the other one misses the things don't work. Soomeone is wearing heavy winter clothes the taser can be problematc. And can wind or the movement of the user or target.
Another problem with the flying leads is the eyes. There is a risk that the leads will hit someone in the eyes and cause injury and blindness. That really should not be an issue but it is. I think this is why many Law Enforcement agencies DONT use these kind of stun guns.

OTOH, I think they can be a deterant. I had an opportunity to be shocked a few years ago. I turned down the offer. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif The sight of electricty bouncing across two leads on the taser was enough for me to say NO! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
And if we TBNers are not average are we above or below average? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
