Use it. It may lose some of it's maximum effect, but certainly won't hurt anything. It's like prescription drugs...they lose effectiveness and potency over time, but will not harm you if taken after their expiration date. Just don't try to compensate for effectiveness by using/taking more then normally directed.
that's not 100% true. some meds can cause toxicity when outdated.. for instance.. doxycycline, a synthetic tetracycline form, becomes toxic to the kidneys when sufficiently outdated.. or at least that's what walgreens told me...
