I want to offset one side of my BB to do some grading work. Angle the BB so that dirt flows to one side when I drag.

Is there such thing as an arm extender that I can add to my current arm? It looks to me like some of the manufacturers provide adjustable arms. My arms are fixed length. And I can't seem to find any aftermarket product that does that.

So 2 questions:

  • Is it OK to drag that BB at an angle, and
  • If OK, how should I get by BB to pull at that angle - an arm extension? Something else?

Thanks

FWIW, my big NH has flexible link ends that extend out, but the manual says not to operate in the extended position (just for simplifying hook-ups). I don't see why you couldn't pull the box blade at an angle so long as it is strong enough, i.e., don't try with a lightweight, cheaply built unit.

I myself would not pull a BB on an angle unless it was designed for that purpose. The standard BB's frame is designed for straight on force.

I think you would just fill one side of the box. I need new extend able arms because my turn buckles are bent and the treads are stripping out. This also from pushing with the box blade
