Extras you would get on a new CK2610

I would make sure you get telescoping 3pt ends and sway braces.

Good to have, but I found them to be unnecessary with my Pat's Easy Change system. I've kept my 3 point ends and sway braces in the same spot for the last year now. The only thing I've changed is the length of my top link.

Linked pedal is a good option as well as the arm rest. You may or may not want cruise control.

I think he's getting a gear tractor, so no option for linked pedal. Also, cruise control is "built in" on a gear tractor. :)

If you just get the SE model it comes with most of what has been suggested and as a package is probably cheaper.

Rim guard/loaded tires get recommended a ton but be careful as my trailer and f-150 are absolutely maxed out with mine and 5’ bushog and loader. If I added another 600 lbs or so I could not trailer it. So if you plan on doing much transportation at all you need to think about that (I couldn’t buy an f250 just to carry a heavier tractor, and if you need that much maybe you should just start with a bigger machine - although stability does improve with loaded tires).

I think the SE is only for the 35 and up series. Tractor is being delivered, but when/if I need to move it around my stepson has a 450 with a 7.1 and an industrial trailer. Edit: I see there is an SE model for the 2610, my mistake.

I choose a rear view mirror over an arm rest as an add on-still waiting on a price on that and the rimguard.

I sure do appreciate everyone’s input.

Get front and rear chains for your rotary cutter. The rear chains help keep from throwing stuff to the rear and killing someone, and the front chains help to keep you from throwing something into your tires.

Loader mounted third function would be a plus. The Kioti third function is overpriced. I suspect Bobcat would be the same. You may be able to find something aftermarket that's cheaper. Ask your dealer about options, and see if you can source it and roll it into your financing...unless you're paying cash.

Forks and box blade would be on my list too. I already have each, and the forks are super handy. You'd have to spend a few years without them to truely appreciate them, but do yourself a favor and get them now. They're relatively inexpensive compared to everything else you're getting. Box blade is handy for driveway maintenance, but if you have the $$$, you may spring for a land plane instead.

Skip the chipper. I've wanted one off and on for years, but had some wisdom imparted on me by a few fellows on this form. Also my powers of observation helped out in that regard as well. To put things through a decently affordable chipper, you have to spend a lot of time chopping off limbs to put them through the hopper. If you get one that's over $2K, you can get an auto feed that takes less prep and has a bigger hopper, but you'll also need a larger tractor to run it. It's MUCH cheaper and more convenient to simply burn limbs and branches. If you want mulch, get some delivered. Still cheaper than wear and tear on your machine, your time, and the cost of the chipper.
+1 on what you said, great advice
