Looks like we've pretty well run the gambit on fuel refilling methods, so I would like to temporarily hijack the thread to ask a related question.
Some of you have mentioned storing your fuel for a year or more. I would like to know if it ever goes bad. I realize it has been sitting far below the earth in some form for eons, but once it has been refined and mixed with additives, is there any sort of shelf life for diesel fuel or gasoline for that matter?
This would be better in it's own thread. If you search in the Oil, Fuel, and Lubricants forum: Oil, Fuel & Lubricants - TractorByNet.com you should find extansive discussion of this subject. It is a very valid question, but you will find much more information over there.
