F2260 price/ good deal?

Hello All,
I have found a local guy selling a 2009 F2260. It is 4wd, 130 hrs and has a 5 ft deck (side discharge). It has been stored outside the past 2 years. The lever to engage mower does not work. It feels like it is stuck. The guy is asking $14,000. Does this seem about right or is this high? Any advise you can give me would be appreciated. Thank you.

I bought a new F2680e in 2009 which is the 2wd model. I've owned it twice. Barlows Kubota Dealer in Somerset, Ky said the current owner in Barbourville has hurt his leg and wants to sell it. Has around 150 hours and documented history, me mostly, 72" under 50 hours side discharge deck probably under or around $9000.
I don't think Kubota made a F2260 in 2009 in USA. F2680e 2wd, and 4wd models F3080 (Owned two and currently own one) and F3680. I know there were some earlier years that were considered to be under powered but the 26hp had no issues with either deck I used on it up to and including the 72" deck.

Thank you JOHN THOMAS for your reply ( and knowledge):thumbsup: After more research I found that model was made from 1997-2005. I am interested in your old F2680e, but was wanting 4wd. Not a deal breaker but, I was wanting to get a snow blower for wintertime. Do you have a contact name? I will call them tomorrow.

I got the mans number from Steve Barlow the Kubota dealer here in Somerset, Ky. The mans name is Wilbur Bingham at Barbourville, Ky former Sheriff in his 70s. 606-622-1340 but tell him the number "came" from Steve Barlow and don't mention me or it may cost you more since I did talk to Mr Bingham when he was at Barlows picking the F up an talked with him for quite awhile about how grand the machine. He knows I know how valuble the machine is. I would buy it in a heartbeat with no eservations if I could use it but I'm fully stocked with Kubotas now. Four ooops five counting RTV. If he still has it and yyou make a deal we can talk about it's history and why it has a near new deck. It's all here in previous posts.
