Hi I just bought a F935 diesel, it starts great but when i step on the tram pedal the engine dies, also if i engage the mower blade , same thing the engine dies. I put a new seat switch on it and it still does the same thing. How many safety switches are there? two right one on the seat and one on the pto mower shaft????/ I am truly stumped here. H E L P ...... not sure where to look next?

Is the PTO in off position?
Do you have the manual?

Parking brake ? That one kills mine. Also the one by the PTO brake needs careful placement. Just bend the bracket.

I have a similar mower but it's Kubota F3060 and it has these safety switches:

PTO - switch hast to be closed for the engine to start.
Seat - switch has been jumpered because it is a pain in the a**.
Parking brake - switch has to be open for the engine to start.

You should get operator manual and a shop or repair manual for F935 if you are going to maintain and repair it yourself.

Just saying.

Cheers

The OP has one that the engine starts/runs, but F935 will not move without killing the engine. I recall the condition, but don't recall the safety switch that causes the problem.

Like said earlier, a shop manual with wiring diagram and trouble shooting guide for F935 is what he should have.
