Surprised to see the Thermal Equipment. I was a TA tech for years. Earlier stuff was made in Malaysia til the sunami took the plant and 400 workers out to sea. After that it was WTL out of China. All good stuff.

Plenty of room for a second cylinder behind the C25, plus the "roll cage" protects the gauges, acts as a hand truck, provides an adjustable balance lifting eye, trailer hitch (offroad ONLY) with retractable casters, hot and cold running water (OK, maybe not :laughing ...Steve

OK Mark; in all fairness, my cart would probably NOT work (at least as a hand truck) with the original mm211; the inverter version is at least 45 pounds LIGHTER than the transformer one, and this cart's already about as much "hand truck" as I wanna handle - if I'd put any smaller than those 13" tires on it, I could only move it BACKWARD with any hope of not tipping it over.

As it is, it'll go forward OR backward over my "custom gravel floors", but if I still had the transformer version the cart would've likely turned out quite a bit different... Steve

My TA 210 is 20 years old. Would it have been “Made in USA” like the tag says?

Yes, That one was made in Troy Ohio. Here is the secret. When Hobart was getting out of the welder business. They sold the 3ph equipment to Thermadyne and the 1ph stuff to ITW ( Miller ) So both companies were allowed to mess with with both. The Miller tap machines were Hobart as well as your 210. The next generation was similar but built in a plant in Malaysia prior to the tsunami. They used the same Hobart transformer tehnology but soon moved to inverters like the Hobart Ultraflex. Solid equipment. Then they were bought by Colfax who threw them in with ESAB (who can't find their *** with both hands) and the whole Vitcor /Thermadyne company was set to die.
