Thanks for the pictures. Looks like the rear of the 180 is significantly different from the 195. Here is a line drawing of the ROPS for the 195.

Another question.....since you have a US model, are dealers still avaliable for you to get parts and service from?

I don't know of any dealers near me. The only ones that I know are the same ones you see on the net. I haven't needed any parts yet, other than filters. I bought them at TSC. I resized some more pictures so you can have a better look.

Here is a side view you can see that it leans back slightly. The tubing is 2" square tubing. If you want any more pictures, let me know.

Find a shop that builds roll cages for Jeeps, pickups ect, or a race car fabricator. They can build you a nice setup, with tabs for lights, canopy ect. They could even build you a full cage as oppossed to a rear roll bar.

One of the first things a lot of people do to Jeeps is install the front "cage" portion addition to the rear roll bar for full driver protection. Many have all new cages built for full protection of those in the front and back seats; ie a "family cage" as it is sometimes called.

Building the ROPS isn't the hard part. Attaching them so they won't fold over or collapse in a rollover is the hard part.

I may end up with a cage and that wouldn't be a bad thing. But what I was looking for is the ROPS for the YM195. It is the closest thing to the YM1500. I have a line drawing of the factory ROPS of it and I think they will virtually bolt on with little modification. My thought was that if I could find out who actually marketed them and who actually supports the US models, I might be able to find a NOS ROPS sitting in a parts warehouse somewhere.

Of course I need to see a picture of how they were actually installed on the tractor. Those are some great pictures that fishstixtwo posted and they will be very helpful if I wind up having to make a set from scratch. But the back of his tractor is significantly different from the back of the 1500/195 and the mount is different.
