I have an LS MT122 with the factory SSQA option, and recently ordered a new bucket and pallet forks. They don't fit. The LS bracket is 14 inches tall, and the SSQA spec, and the new inplements are 16 inches tall (between the apex and the pin opening). After picking up the new bucket with the loader, when I engage the pins, they are too short to reach the holes in the new bucket. The factory bucket fits as it is also shorter. Any one else run into this and have a solution, am I missing something? I have reached out through the dealer to LS, I will update when I hear something.

The SSQA on the MT 122/125 are not standard size... they are subcompact size. You either have to order subcompact attachments specifically, or modify regular SSQA mounting points to fit your measurements of SSQA mounts. There are aftermarket manufacturers that make the universal SSQA plates to fit on the SCUT tractors. I am sorry, I can't remember the manufacturer that I was looking at for my 125 SSQA, it was a few years ago.

Your dealer should have told you about this before charging you for it. Unfortunately, LS has not caught up with making / supplying the correct attachments for it yet. Unless you modify the attachments, it will be useless for you. I would see what the dealer will do about it... maybe refund the cost.

Thanks for the input. They sold it to me as just a SSQA adapter, and so far I have not heard back from the dealer or LS. I have found a 3rd party adapter, but if I were to replace the factory supplied one, now the original bucket wont fit, and I will need to replace that too. Relative to the price of the tractor, this seems to be a fools errand, I am probably going to have to return the MT122 and buy a tractor with SSQA.

If you do trade the tractor, the new MT225-S (next size frame up from yours) does have a full size SSQA.

I took your advice. The dealer, with LS support, joined up to offer some solutions. An option was to replace the bracket with a 3rd party, and then swap out the factory bucket with an XJ bucket. This was the easiest solution, but would take 4-6 weeks, plus I would have to pay money to be where I thought I was in first place. Plus I would have a compromised MT122 loader in terms of lift capacity, as the XJ bucket is quite a bit heavier.

They also offered an XJ2025H or the new MT225S tractor to replace the MT122 entirely. I stepped up and paid the difference to get the MT225S, and I will get it Thursday. Kudo's to both the dealer and LS for stepping up and eating some cost to make up for the mistake. I will now have more tractor than I wanted, and will need, but at least a good value if I need to sell in a few years.

I think you will be pleased with the trade up. Too bad it is one of those that happen, either a salesman not up on his game, or willing to take the risk of a sale. I am glad to hear that they are taking the right path to make a happy customer.

I think your choice was correct in going with the bigger machine vs. sacrificing lifting capacity. I think you will find that the 225-S maneuvers and fits in places that the 122 would. It is a great machine.

Thank you guys for bringing this subject up. Like JBSlim I assumed that the SSQA adapter on the MT125 was a "Standard" adapter. Just this afternoon I was going to go to my dealer and order the SSQA adapter and bucket for ny 5 year old tractor BUT I thought I was getting a universal setup. I"m sure glad I kept reading information about this set up as I would have been truly disappointed. ;)(y)

Hey LS, thanks for the shout out!! Yea, having fun with my tractor and you know as time goes by we get them kind of set up like we want it. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it other then the joy sticks on the loader and back hoe coming loose. But I sort that out quickly and fixed it so they don't come loose anymore.

Today I was going to spend the $2K for the "sub-compact" SSQA and bucket but after reading about this being a smaller QA I backed off. But the reality is these SCUT's run out of capacity for big full size attachments. So what do I really need? a set of forks would be nice and maybe a snow blade attachment in the smaller sub-compact design for the smaller QA. So I'm back on with the purchase. I'm going to pursue with my dealer to see if my old bucket has a trade in value against this new gear. All I have ever used the bucket in reality was for lifting things and pushing snow so it's like brand new and the paint isn't even worn off of it. Plus I think it would be a cool upgrade to my little machine.
Anyway when I pull the trigger I'll get some pictures and post them. BTW I have a good friend that has the orange tractor and when he see's the difference on the lifting capacity on my loader compared to his and also my backhoe is a bigger attachment then the orange he's jelous. We love our MT 125's!! (y)(y)😍

What is the cost of just the SSQA part that mounts on the loader? Then I will mod my bucket to fit. My MT 125 is great also.
