Price Check Fair price for 4100

Hi,

I just bought a 4100 hydro for $7700. It has 200 hours, turfs, 5 front suitcase weights and a 60 inch woods RD6000 rear finish mower (the rear discharge model. Tractor and mower are both in great shape.

How did I do? I'm hoping I'll hear I paid a fair price and not way too much?

Also, I'm going to sell the woods mower, is there anyone out there who knows what it might be worth?

Are you happy with your purchase? Did you shop around and get a feel for what your machine should cost? If "yes" x2, then you did GREAT! Congratulations!
Oh, and let us know about the fuel figures. You'll find out soon enough. Knowing now won't make a bit of difference in how much fuel you buy or use.

I'd say that was a great price. Congrats Or as they used to say when I was in the Army - "You done good"

I predict that you will be using less than 1 gallon fuel per hour for most of the work you do.

You know i have mine since 2001 and I really don't know. I used it cut 1/4 acre of grass for 4 years and 1.25 acres including hilly slopes, and I still don't fill up very often - 2 times a season? It seems to burn more pushing snow, where I have had to fill up more than 3 times during one snow season. But i was doing a bunch of my former neighbor's driveways in addition to mine.

Here are the pictures you asked for... I thought I'd throw in a pic of the forks I picked up a couple weekends ago too. Love em!!!

I've been looking at prices on 4100's for a while now. I was actually looking at one a local dealer had with 135 hours for $8500. This was what got me seriously thinking about buying one and swapping the loader and MMM. Assuming I could have got it for $8250, plus tax I was looking at around $8900. So I reasoned $7700 from a private seller and not tax, plus a rear finish mower I could sell and get something for was a better deal. My initial hopes were to sell the rear mower and my 4010 and hope to come pretty close to a wash on the whole deal and end up with a more capable machine...

I'm going to use the 4100 this winter to clear snow and maybe mow some with it in the spring then make my decision on which to keep. I like em both right now...
