I have a no-name rear blade that needs a bit of work after pushing so much snow this winter. My dealer said he'd take it on a trade but he's not yet mentioned how much he'll give me. He still sells the same no-name brand of blades and will sell me one of those for $400. A Woods RB84 he priced at $650.
I've attached a photo of the damage to my existing rear blade. It coule be pounded out but the real solution would be to cut of the angle irons & weld on new ones. I don't weld so I'd need to pay someone in to come out & do the work. I think that by the time I buy materials & pay someone to come up to fix this, I'd have paid for a new one.
So, two questions:
1. What's a fair price for an RB84? Is $650 about right?
2. What would be a fair trade value for my blade?
