My local dealer gave me a price of 15,810 + NY 8 % tax,for a CK 30 gear drive with KL130 loader and industrial tires. The dealer has a good reputation. The price sounds a little high to me from reading other post,or is this a decent price? I want to thank all the posters on the board for all the schooling as this tractor stuff is new to me.

I would recomend at least taking a look at the LK3054XS, if you haven't already. There's no question the CK30 has some advantages, but depending on the price difference, and what you want to do, they not be that important.

Al,
Have you checked out Rodgers & Son in Cherry Creek, New York or Greenhill Farms in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvannia.
They are both long established business. I bought my DK45 from Greenhill Farms before Rodgers & Son started to sell Kioti,s. I have dealt with both companies and enjoy doing business with both of them. Good luck on your purchase !

We're about 300+ miles away from each other then. I thought maybe you were looking at dealers around my area. G

I'm not really sure about pricing for the CK30 since they weren't out when I bought my CK20HST, however, the CK20 should go for somewhere between about 12,500 and 13,000 with loader. The KL130 loader is superior to the KL120 I have and includes a brush guard and metalized hydro plumbing instead of hoses, so it should cost a little more than mine.
All that said, I would think, since it's not hydro, that you should be able to find one for around $14,500 to $15,200.
For the price you were quoted, I would be expecting a HST. John

As has been stated many times here on TBN, be careful about the sales tax. If you buy it in PA, in person, you may have to pay their tax. If you import it, via a shipper, there may be some other "use" tax for NY State that you're not aware of. Make sure before you count on saving the 8%. John

As KiotiJohn said.... be careful. Just because the dealer delivers it out of state and doesn't charge you tax, doesn't mean that you are not responsible for filing and paying the tax in your home state
