Would it be possible to get a clean used ~20HP B 4x4 with a 60" mower for less than $5,000? Really want a 72" MMM, but I don't think it's possible without a tractor too heavy for my turf.

I need a grass eatin machine before spring hits. It would be nice if it could cut some rough stuff with a 4' bush hog and have a front mount PTO snowblower, too, but I'd buy those attachments later.

Do not want front mower "X" type machine. Traditional tractor. Have a Deere w/ 48" cut, but it's too slow & small and belt driven :laughing: Hooking up front mount accessories is too time consuming. :confused2:

I don't think you will get one for that price unless it has alot of hours, but you might get close. Ones I've seen seem to be more like $7000 or a little higher. When I got my BX a couple of years ago they had a used one on the lot with about 1200 hours for $7000.

That's going to be tough for 5k...As was said, 7k is probably more like it. That's good for those of us who own them, not so much for the buyers.

Better to get a lower hour machine that hasn't been tortured and pay a little more. The price difference could easily be made up in repairs.

I don't think you can get a 72" MMM on a BX, I believe a 60" is max...I have a 54" and love it.

Thanks, guys. My local K dealer had a BX22 4WD, hydrostatic, 60" MMM with turfs and only ~500 hours for $6,000. It just sold. :( RATS!

He's not really the lowest or the highest price dealer. I guess that's why I thought there might be the possibility of getting one closer to 5K. Sounds like 6K was a really good deal. It was a nice clean undamaged machine!
