Been wanting to post a few fall color picks of my place since last year. Colors are not peak yet, but here's a few shots of my place. Apoligize if they load slow....

Do the reds turn to yellows before they fall? In Texas, we have a lot of yellow and brown dotted with a few reds in the fall. Of course, it's just late summer here now. 80's today /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif.
Nope. Reds stay red and yellow stay yellow. I love walking thru the forest this time of year because it's like walking on gems!
Actually, the colors are always present, but the rest of the year are covered by the green of the chlorophyll. By watching the buds in early Spring you can tell if you have a colorful tree or not.
