Whaaa! my Little hard working B7200D has a new home now too.

The Max28 that replaces her is a bit more tractor, but lacks that smooth Kubota feel.

Congratulation on getting a new tractor, I have a 1984 L2250 with 2370hrs on it, had a few small problems, but can't get myself to trade for anything else.

The L3901 will have cruise control, work lights, bucket hooks, loaded AG tires, block heater, and a rear blade. How is yours set up?

Turns out I got on trade what I paid for the L2250 almost 15 years ago

I might have been able to get more on a private sale, but the convenience of a drop off/pick up with no need to advertise and entertain tire-kickers was just too appealing to pass up.

Appreciate the tip on getting up at 4 am.....but it will probably happen anyway!:laughing:

Mine is a simple machine, I got the FEL, cruise, and hard canopy. I lost a thousand on my trade of 3 years, but it was a broken down JD. Same deal, didn't want to mess with trying to sell and bicker and when all the dust settled, I still had the money to pay for it. 2 weeks old and have 23 hours on it.

Congrats. Your story sounds alot like mine. I traded my 12 year old L 2600 dt for a new L 3301 . I really agonized over doing it, as the 2600 only had 280 hours on it and looked new. But, the dealer gave me Ten grand for it, and $10,000 bucks is $10,000 bucks. Nostalgic, or not.

Sounds like you are really looking forward to the new tractor. :thumbsup: I just bought a new L2501 and I'm having a difficult time even thinking about getting rid of my old Ford 8N that I've had for many years. I think it whimpers a little each time the Kubota drives past it. I'm keeping it for the 5' finishing mower. Handy to have more than one tractor so I don't have to switch from box blade to PH digger to Disc or two bottom plow. One for mowing and one for everything else. :laughing:

Deereslayer, congrats on the new L3901. Your L2250 sure looks good for being so old. I'd have a hard time letting it go, but all things come to an end. Enjoy the new one.
