bump... and update:
Tractor has been sitting for a while because Im too **** busy. I do start it every few weeks, to keep everything moving and lubed up, but without the 3pt hitch working its just a yard ornament for the moment. I would love to address this issue and have it solved by fall.
I did locate the speed regulating valve below the seat. I didn't see any knob because as described above, because it doesn't have one, just the square pug head. Loosened it considerably and it still didn't help raise the tiller.
Also, this model tractor doesn't have the diverting valve, the steering system has its own pump and lines.
The arms do lift without an implement attached, which makes me think the pump is weak, or there is a clog in the system.
It is still leaking from the inlet or supply line, as well as from the valve housing, so this is an obvious indication that things are not right.
Anyone else have some ideas? Im going to order the sealing washers for the inlet line, and probably new gaskets for where the valve mounts to the tractor body.
