bump... and update:
Tractor has been sitting for a while because Im too **** busy. I do start it every few weeks, to keep everything moving and lubed up, but without the 3pt hitch working its just a yard ornament for the moment. I would love to address this issue and have it solved by fall.
I did locate the speed regulating valve below the seat. I didn't see any knob because as described above, because it doesn't have one, just the square pug head. Loosened it considerably and it still didn't help raise the tiller.
Also, this model tractor doesn't have the diverting valve, the steering system has its own pump and lines.
The arms do lift without an implement attached, which makes me think the pump is weak, or there is a clog in the system.
It is still leaking from the inlet or supply line, as well as from the valve housing, so this is an obvious indication that things are not right.
Anyone else have some ideas? Im going to order the sealing washers for the inlet line, and probably new gaskets for where the valve mounts to the tractor body.
thanks yall!

Also, in the Jinma 200 Tractor Users Manual, the service advisory 1 recommends cleaning the hydraulic fluid intake filter, located under the tractor seat. My tractor doesn't have this! Were certain models equipped without the internal filter?
As this tractor was next to a burning that caught on fire, it no longer has the original cowl or hood, all associated identifying tags and stickers are missing. So while i was told this is the farm pro 2524, i have no idea what year the tractor was made. This may account for some of these missing components that are listed as stock in the manuals...

Well if yours has the spin-on hydraulic strainer, it wouldn't need the one in the sump would it:) The filter on a hydraulic pump suction side must have very low restriction. They usually have a #100 mesh(150 Micron) screens on them. The spin-on unit must have this same spec, if it dosn't, it could cause problems with the system and damage to the pump.

What is the make/model of the filter you have on there now, so we can look up the specs?

There is a safety relief valve on the 3PH control vlave, accessed by loosening the plug(#1 in this pic).
http://www.johnsjinma.com/files/HydValve.jpg
The fluid from the pump goes into the control valve and then on into the reservoir. When you command the valve to lift the 3PH, it diverts the flow from the reservoir to the cylinder and builds pressure to lift the 3PH. It flows by the relief valve and thru that speed reg valve in front of the seat along the way. When you command the valve to lower the 3PH, the fluid flows back thru the speed reg, past the relief and back thru the control valve and into the reservoir. If the relief is stuck open it will dump the fluid back to the reservoir before enough pressure can be generated to lift a load on the 3PH. If the rings in the 3PH cylinder are blown, it will also keep it from building enough pressure to lift a load.

A quick check for the rings is to lift the 3PH all the way up without a load, and then screw that speed reg valve all the way in till tight. This should trap the fluid in the hydraulic cylinder. It should then hold a load such as 1 or 2 people standing on the arms solid as a rock. If it leaks down the piston 0-rings are most likley shot. If it dosn't, and remains firm, your problem most likley lies in the relief valve.

Well, that makes sense. I thought it was redundant to have 2 filter but figure the internal one was a larger micron or screen mezh type thing.

The filter i have on there is a Wix 51551 which i guess is 10 micron, so that could be the prooblem right there! I dont remember what was on there but i had Orielyys cross reference it and this is what they came up with. It is a hydraulic filter, just perhaps to fine of a micron.

Ok, this is a big help. Will try to find the correct filter and see if this solves the prob. Will also disassemble the relif valve and look for any indications of it sticking or not functioning as it should.

Yep, that is too fine for suction service. That is the type filter you put on the return line to fine filter the fluid right before it returns to the reservoir... That is what these tractors should have in their system somewhere, but Sadly there is no easy way to do that on these trators.

What I think you want is a Wix 51614 or napa 1614. It has the 141 micron/100 mesh strainer innards and is rated for suction service.
