Oil & Fuel Farm-Pro 4020 fuel pressure issue or ?

In-tank screen Bob, and there's no meaningful suction - unless the flow is interrupted. For the most part, gravity is in play. Unless and until that is, the supply to the sediment bowl is interrupted. All fuel destined for the bowl must pass through that screen - and then the bowl housing screen - before it actually enters the sediment bowl. Matter of fact, Ranch Hand Supply actually addressed the issue back in 2010 when the came up with a"fuel bowl upgrade" kit. If I'm not mistaken, he also addressed the issue of the collapsing plastic sediment bowl in the same kit.

As you can see Greg, it's impossible to suck the sediment bowl dry.

No, I don't see Bob. Don't you remember the cases of the collapsing plastic sediment bowls? The in-tank siphon screen plugged up, but the lift pump kept demanding more fuel. That's when lift pump suction overcomes gravity feed. When no fuel was forthcoming from the tank (due to a blocked screen), the plastic bowls would actually collapse inward on themselves. Empty.

Ok, I'll concede that if the bowl cracks or collapses under intense vacuum it's a remote possibility, but more than likely the cracked bowl would just drain itself to the ground.
I changed my bowl to a glass one I purchased at NAPA ($13.00), but ultimately went with a 10 micron transparent in-line throw-away filter element and a 1/4" ball valve.

I don't know the those tank valve got changed over to a better style or not, but, on my Jinma '02 354. The tank valve was the very first thing to get replaced with a standard 1/4" needle valve. I've never had starting running issues. The OEM valve had very small orifices for the fuel to pass through and ANY foreign matter would plug it in a instant. bjr
