I am a new Jinma JM200LE owner, 21 hours. I bought it for yard work on 10 acres. 4Ft Rottary cutter, 4Ft box blade, 30inch scoop, Middlebuster and a yard rake are my primary Implements. I paid $3600 for the tractor with no warranty. I have replaced all the fluids except the coolant which will be done next next week. I could have bought a JD 790, a somewhat similar machine. It has a little smaller engine with a higher horsepower rating at about 20% higher revs.
The 790, no loader and hard negotiations, $10500? About 3 times what I paid. Would any of my Implements known the difference when I drag them around the place? I think not. I am a retired engineer. 35 years in Avionics design and general manufacturing consulting. I understand materials and recognize good design when I see it. The Jinma is built to last in a hard primitive world where an oil change is a major family decision. I will baby mine where the mass market user will beat the daylights out of it so he and his family can eat tomorow. Yes excellent dealer service would be pleasant but this newsgroup is a great collection of knowledge and wisdom and is glad to share.
Best regards,
Harold Baird
