<font color="blue"> Joe, good to see you post, been a bit worried about ya! How bad is it where you are?

Hey Bluechip,
It's not quiet as bad as Biloxi, GulfPort, and New Orleans, But. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
1.8 miles away from me on the coast: Coastal homes were completely destroyed by water and wind. I haven't had time to take a coastal drive, but they tell me that there are about 1500 homes in my area that are completely destroyed. One home that that I saw, that was built up on Pileings/Telephone Poles, was completely gone, with nothing, but the telephone poles, left sticking out of the ground. I could see lumber, couches and furniture strewn through the woods 1/8 to 1/4 mile, back through the woods, behind the telephone poles.
Houses all around me flooded out and lost all of there possessions and may have to rebuild, because of the flood damage.
I haven't heard the official wind speed where I am at, but I have heard rumors of about 125mph sustained.
The wind was blow'n, the trailer was rock'n, and when the gusts came, the trailer was buck'n. I thought that the trailer was going airborne at one point.
My new metal building that I just got completed stood good though, Thank God.
Didn't get much sleep Sunday night and it was difficult eating breakfast Monday morning, My coffee kept spilling. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The people down here along the Gulf Coast need lots of help, and anything is appreciated. People are still floating in the water over in New Orleans, which in a straight line is about 85 miles from my house.
Don't mess with Katrina, she'll take your house, (Literally), and leave a boat load of mud in your yard. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Thank you for thinking of us.
Get your tractors running &
Have a nice day,
Joe /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
