My grandfather had two Farmall As with belley mowers. He was still using them up until he passed away.

Second try on this picture post...

This is from 4 years ago, the machine hasn't budged since. Land has been sold and the new owner wants the 'junk' off of it. Any idea the model? I think it's been sitting 7 years there total.

I'd say a mid 40's FARMALL B. Bring er in and fix er up. It;s a classic for sure. The "C" which is a predesser of the 200, replaced this in the late 40's.

Thank you. It has never been overhauled and still runs like a clock. My brother-in-law picked it up dirt cheap with a pile of original implements for it. The guy he bought it from thougt it was in need of a motor job. My brother-in-law came back with the distributor cap off from his A in his pocket. He paid the guy for it, put on the different cap, drove it on his lowbed. Needless to say, it 's pays to have somebody around who knows engines. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd put money on it being a "B". I am a big IH fan if you can tell. I think most, if not all of the "A" parts and attachments will fit on it.
