I lost the hydraulics on a 2010 diesel, refreshed the pump,all valves and resealed steering motor. With a gauge in the steering line and started the engine ,the gauge went to300 and then back to zero. Removed the gauge and restarted with a can under the hose and started tractor, got half a cup of oil with air in it.trans was full of oil. Any ideas?

Hi. Welcome.
Sounds like you may be sucking air into the hyd, system. Check for leaks and or cracks in lines and hoses.
