Yup.. nobody knows they take oil.. I’ve had customers that say, there’s NO MENTION of it in the owners manual..
That’s crazy..
There are 2 different places to check the oil level..depending on the year and pump #..
1 is to the right and behind the fuel supply pump..
2 is a plug on the bottom of the governor cover..
OR.. just add a 1/2qt. of whatever oil u use in the engine.. the pump is equipped with a vent, which will allow any excess oil to drip out of the pump..
U ADD OIL thru the large screw plug on top of the governor (15/16?)..
When was the last time the dip stick has been pulled for the engine.??
Most of the time the seal in the fuel supply pump has gotten hard and fills the crankcase full of fuel.. THATS clue # 1..that the pump needs service..
