One dealer is showing me a Farmtrac 45 which has the EPA tier 1 engine. Another dealer is showing me a 545 which has the EPA tier 2 engine. Any comments on which is the better choice?

Price being equal, I'd put more weight on the dealer than any difference that might exist between these two tractors. All else being equal the 545 is supposed to have a slightly better inj. pump and is the newer design, but I don't think I'd pay much, if any, extra for the 545 over the 45. I'd go with the dealer I felt would treat me better overall.

I did! When I went back to the 45 dealer, he had 545's at the same cost. It will delivered this Friday.
