To wrap this up. Had new hoses made and replaced tie rod ends. There was still some drama before I could finish. Once I tightened the packing glands up the shaft would not move. Pulled everything apart and found the shaft had .155” of runout about 4” from piston on the right side. I strung curse words together in endless chains. 93 degrees and just beat down. Took a few minute break. Set the shaft up on my HF press between V blocks and tweaked it. Too much!! I went .070” the other direction. After another tweak it is within .015”. I stopped and reassembled. Basically the shaft is dead soft. Got her all back and bled the system, set the toe and back in business. Don’t know when it got bent. I am sure that is what wiped the seals. I will give it a go and see what happens. All new cylinder is around $600.
