Farmtrac...is it a Ford??

I would like to sell our 2006 farmtac 545 front loader. Great shape. But it is to bog for our farm. Mainly just sits in the pole barn. Less than a 100 hours on the tractor. Any suggestion on a smlller model, We only have 40 acres to bush hog. Plus it has a front loader. That means toy have to have your eyes on a coiple of things. A lot of inconvenience. Farmtrac isn't a ford,this tractor it has many many prolem especialy hydrolc systeam.

I don't think so. I had a dealer tell me the 270DTC had a Ford engine in it. I knew that was not true, so I went with a Kubota.

The Farmtrac model 270 is made by Kioti tractor, engine and all. Very, Very, Very good machines. 10 ti,es better than Kubota and their aluminum tractors!

My particular Farmtrac IS the same as a Ford/New Holland. (It's a 545) There are different Farmtrac tractors made by different companies and all wearing the Farmtrac badge.

How do I know? The parts that I ordered for mine came from India and they have FORD/New Holland Part numbers. Farmtrac has disguised the part numbers in their parts breakdown (They us a number that begins with ESLxxxxxx) BUt if you dig around enough you can find the same old part made for Ford or New Holland tractors. The valve rockers for mine clearly said Ford 3600 on them.

I wish I could tell what year mine was built! It is somewhere between an 06 and an 09 I think. Not really sure.
