860 Ford,Farmtrac 675 DTC
Just curious as to new parts sources if any for the Indian built Farmtracs. I have a 675 DTC. Don't need any parts at the moment but, I am always looking for potential parts sources for future reference.

While the subject of parts is the question I was wondering if anyone has any new news or has heard anymore about LS brand tractors getting started here in the U.S. It would be nice to have an outlet through them to get parts for the south korean made farmtrac's. I really like my 360 DTC with fel, but i am worried more about parts into the future, have only needed parts one time and was more than pleased to get them from a fellow named SESS who shipped them in the mail, anyway was just hoping for some good news, maybe get a dealer closer to home . Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Parts for the LS tractors will not be a problem at all. LS is due to be up and running any day now. They have several containers of parts waiting to be unloaded. LS parts will not be any worries. Thank you Lineman Florida for the comment. Keep our phone # handy and give a call anytime you might need anything! :)

I have a old FNH dealer in my area (20 miles) that has sold Ford and then FNH trctors for years. He still has a limited supply of parts from the old Ford 3600 line that work on my FT60 Escorts made tractor. Not sure if your 675 DTC had a same as the old Ford tractor line as the FT60 but may be something to look into. Hopefull someone will supply dealers for all the Ford and Farmtrac Escorts made tractors here in the states.

David, your comment about "all parts are available" shows a lack of understanding of the current challenges within the organization. It is clear you have not been copied off on the "Back Order List" during the last twelve months.

David, thanks for the reply but I also think that you are misinformed about parts availability. Just because Montana bought Farmtrac does not make parts for these tractors any more available than they have been since Farmtrac closed shop in 1-08. Parts were supposed to be sent on a slow boat from India last summer, I think they arrived but, it was limited supplies. It would look to me that if Escort, who builds the Farmtracs, ever wants back in this country as a tractor sales player, they need to get parts in here. It was bad enough that a lot of people lost there warranties when this mess erupted, let alone dealers having to do warranty work knowing it was going to be a struggle to find parts and then not get reimbursed for the work. I did not like loosing my warranty, but what really ticks me off is the parts availability. A lot of the repair work I could do myself if I only had good reliable access to them. I will apoligize now if you know more than the rest of us about the parts situation. If you do know more, please share with the rest of us.

Tim,
Parts are a pain and not a problem.Farmtrac dissappeared. You can get a reliable source other than what is suggested, (montana). If they give you parts it will be great.
Type Farmtrac parts on the net you get great results.
Send me a PM for any parts upto 675 , i can redirect you to a source.

Thanks

Smith
