That is the truth, but since 80% or more of compact buyers never will use a hydraulic remote why make it standard?

I agree, but the point of the matter is that it is standard...and for the $/hp why not get as much standard options as you can possibly afford?

Why not make it standard? The big three do a lot of price gouging on the extras like remotes. I have seen some prices I consider to be outrageous for TNT setups, which is a huge markup consider all TNT really consists of are a couple of hydraulic cylinders that run off a set of rear remotes. With the CUTs that have the remotes standard you can buy a couple of generic cylinders and have TNT for nearly nothing.

Folding ROPS are standard on most non-big three CUTs, you have to pay extra for the folding ROPS on a number of the models the big three sells.
