Farmtrac Warranty - transferable ?

I'm looking at buying a 2005 FarmTrac 270 with 5040M loader that has only 64 hours on it. I was curious if the warranty comes with the tractor or is only good for the original owner.

Limited Warranty found on last page of Operator’s Manual states:
Farmtrac warrants that each new Farmtrac agricultural tractor sold by it’s authorized dealers will be free under normal usage and service from defects in materials and workmanship, in particular from the drivetrain for a period of three years or one thousand hours of operation, whichever comes first from the date of purchase by the first original retail purchaser.

What that says to me is 3 years from date of first retail sale. but I am not a lawyer... I have to admit I have never asked Farmtrac about transferability but I will, unless someone else jumps in here with the word on it.

To me the wording in the warranty statement is ambiguous. I would contact Farmtrac.

Do any of the other brands allow transfer of the factory warrenty?
I'd expect FT to follow suit with the other brands, but I'd hate to buy a tractor on assumptions...only to find out I assumed wrong.

Kioti does I do know that.
They've been doing it for 2 or 3 yrs now.

I noticed on the new TYM warranty it states "Transferable one time for $250.00". Don't know about other manufactures.

The way I read it, the one year warranty may possibly be transfered (not clear) but it does clearly state that the 2nd/3rd year drivetrain warranty is to the original purchaser only and so not transferable.
